Every year, FG Degree College pays tribute to the martyrs and heroes of Pakistan by commemorating Defence Day on 6th September. The event serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our armed forces and the resilience of the Pakistani nation.
Opening Session
The ceremony began with Quran recitation and the National Anthem. Students presented a tableau showing the bravery of soldiers in the 1965 war, leaving the audience deeply moved.
Speeches & Documentaries
Students and teachers delivered speeches emphasizing patriotism, unity, and sacrifice. A documentary on the Pakistan Army’s role in safeguarding the nation was also screened.
Special Tribute
A minute of silence was observed to honor the martyrs. Poetry recitations and national songs further amplified the spirit of the day.
Principal’s Address
The Principal highlighted that Defence Day is not only about remembering sacrifices but also about renewing the pledge to serve the nation with integrity, whether in uniform or as civilians.
